Multi-Function Beacon
A Multi-Function Beacon is a Beacon that has more than one output. Generally, this is confined to LED Beacons but combined visual and acoustic products can now be defined as Multi-Functional. Unlike Incandescent, LED Beacons are designed to have more than one mode of operation. For example: Flash, Rotate or remain Steady (Static) This in turn gives the end user a much wider choice of applications that the product can be used in and allows for standardisation of one range of product rather than multiples being used in any one location.
